Review: MadBite Aluminum Alloy Fishing Pliers with Carbide Cutters Hook Remove and Lightweight with Sheath

These are heavy duty fishing pliers yet extremely light in weight! They are the perfect size, as you can see in the photos they are a full 7 inches from your hands to the tip, the perfect length to remove any hook. They work wonderfully if a fish has swallowed your hook, or if you catch a toothy fish like a Musky. I personally have a few scars from removing hooks so I am very happy to have these pliers!

The carbide cutters are only found on high end tools, carbide is much denser than both steel and Titanium so you don't have to worry about the cutters getting dull or wearing out. They perform flawlessly cutting all kinds of line. I have tried them on braided, fluro and mono and they cut through like a hot knife in butter. They are aluminum alloy so they are both tough and very light, pluse you don't have to worry about pitting if you use them around salt water like you do with steel.

I like the way in which they attach to the sheath. The cord stretches enough that they are easy to operate, yet you don't have to worry about dropping them off the boat when a fish jumps as you are removing the hook. This has happened to me before. The sheath attaches to your belt and the pliers are held in with Velcro.

Overall these are a high quality set of pliers that will last you a lifetime. Sure you can pay more for other brands but you won't get a better set of pliers.

I received these pliers free or at a discount price in exchange for an honest review.
