I love this pillow!!! I received the zombie plaid. First off I love the name!!! The pillow is wonderful, as you can see in my photos it is extremely lightweight, especially for self inflating. The pillow itself is under 9 ounces great for backpacking, even when you add in the pillow case and the carrying bag it is still just a little over 12 ounces. Perfect for camping. I do a lot of camping, especially hammock camping and size and weight are very important to me. This pillow nails both. I am also a side sleeper and love the recessed area, my ear fits perfectly inside and I don't wake up with ear pain as I have experienced with other pillows. This is a large pillow when inflated, 11in X 19in X 4.5in. Usually travel pillows are small and you are constantly fighting to keep your head on them, not so with this pillow. It is sized perfectly a great balance between size and weight. It is so simple to use, just open the valve and let it set while you are setting up camp. When you are done it will be inflated and you close the valve, another advantage is you can adjust it to fit your desire for firmness. Too firm, simply open the valve and squeeze a little air out before closing. If you want it firmer, open the valve and blow it up a little bit and then close it. My wife and I have different tastes in firmness and we were both able to get it at a perfect comfort level for both of us.
You can pay more for other pillows, but they will not be a better quality than this one. I own many of them and I love this one. I highly recommend it to anyone who camps, backpacks or even has kids. It is small enough to keep in a bag so that when you go to sporting events, etc and the kids get tired, you can whip it out and let them doze off. I would also recommend it to travelers as you never know what kind of pillow a hotel has.
